Privacy Policy
Effective date: 1st of January 2022
This Privacy Policy explains how Vivid Motion collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit vividmotion.co (the "Site") or contact us. Please read it alongside our Cookie Preferences and Terms of Use.
Who we are
Vivid Motion Media LLC ("Vivid Motion," "we," "us") is the controller of personal data collected through the Site.
You can reach us about any privacy matter at privacy@vividmotion.co.
What we collect
Analytics data. When you visit the Site, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the Site is used. Through GA4 and its cookies, we collect information such as the pages you view, how long you spend on them, the approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, and how you arrived at the Site. This data is collected only where you have consented to analytics cookies (see Cookies below).
Booking an introductory call. Bookings are handled by a third-party scheduling provider on its own platform, under its own privacy policy. We receive the details you choose to share through it, such as your name, email and what you tell us about your project, in order to arrange and hold the call.
Contacting us directly. If you email us, we receive whatever information you include in your message.
Technical and server data. Our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information such as IP addresses and request data for security and reliability. See Hosting below.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data, and we do not collect payment information through the Site.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses cookies set by Google Analytics 4 to measure usage. These are not strictly necessary, so we ask for your consent before setting them, through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Cookie Preferences in the Site footer. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use the Site.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies to build profiles for marketing.
How we use personal data and our legal bases
We use the data above to:
- measure and improve how the Site performs and how people use it (analytics);
- respond to your enquiry and arrange and run an introductory call;
- maintain the security and reliability of the Site; andcomply with our legal obligations.
For visitors in the EEA and UK, our legal bases under the GDPR are: your consent for analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time; our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries you send us and in keeping the Site secure; and compliance with legal obligations where they apply.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the Site:
- Google (Google Analytics 4) processes Site usage data on our behalf.
- Webflow hosts the Site and processes technical and server data as our hosting provider.
- Our scheduling provider processes the details you submit when booking a call, on its own platform.
We may also disclose personal data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
International data transfers
Vivid Motion is established in the United States, and providers such as Google and Webflow are also US-based, so personal data of EEA and UK visitors is transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. [Confirm the specific mechanism with counsel.]
How long we keep data
Analytics data is retained for 14 months in GA4, after which it is deleted or aggregated. We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as needed to respond to you and, where a project follows, for as long as required for that relationship and any legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access your data, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are in California or another US state with privacy rights, you have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, to request its deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal data. We do not sell or share personal data as those terms are defined under California law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@vividmotion.co. We will respond within the time required by the applicable law.
Children
The Site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
